Scrappin'

A scrapbook layout for another challenge that I'm in. The challenge was to cut out the main person/people in the picture and make it the center of a layout.

Mommy & Me

My mommy cuddles me,
kisses me, hugs me and misses me.

Pampers me, praises me;
always amazes me.

Washes my clothes for me;
tickles my toes for me.

Giggles and talks with me
and goes on walks with me.

Says "sweet dreams" to me;
sings cute songs to me,

I’m so glad she belongs to me!

I can't beleive I actually like this one. I usually don't like it when people are cut out--it reminds me of my old stuff. But this looks good.

Random Facts about Jack

When I chew a piece of gum, I have to split it in half and chew a piece on each side of my mouth.

I prefer email and texting to talking on the phone.

I have a fear of toothpicks and I never use them. I actually cringe when I see someone using one.

I don’t like my food to touch. If it were practical, I would use the cafeteria trays from grade school for all my meals so that everything has dividers.

My favorite color is “rainbow.” I love all colors.

My lucky number is 8.

I think popcorn smells better than it tastes.

I love flowers but I’d rather receive notes, cards, and/or letters instead.

My childhood nicknames were “Squid” and “Tiny Mite” – both given to me by my parents.

I talk out loud to myself throughout the day.

I cannot wear jewelry to bed because my body gets claustrophobic.

Styrofoam makes me nauseous and hearing people touch it makes me gag.

I hoard school supplies – especially pens, pencils, crayons, and markers.

I have never been skiing and I have no desire to.

My toenails are always painted.

I cannot let any part of my body hang over the side of my bed while I’m sleeping because the “monster under the bed” might grab me.

I don’t like “sides of the bed,” I like to switch it up.

I want to be buried in “ruby slippers” and for my casket to be engraven with, “there’s no place like home.”

Sometimes I still feel 17.
